Given the purpose and context of the organization and the state of the environment in which the company operates, the management of Biofarm d.o.o. is responsible for continuous improvement of the environmental management system (EMS) in accordance with compliance obligations, following the principles and requirements of ISO 14001:2015.
Biofarm d.o.o. commits to protecting the environment, fulfilling its compliance obligations, and continuously improving the environmental management system for improved environmental performance.
All employees of Biofarm d.o.o. act in the protection of the environment by preventing and removing environmental pollution through:
- Continuous education to prevent environmental pollution, conserve natural resources, and improve the EMS
- Continuous raising of awareness about the importance of the environmental management system
- Investigation of new materials with lower pollution rates and improvement of hazardous waste management
- Reduction of energy consumption, replacement of non-renewable energy sources with renewable energy sources
- Activities arising from the context of the organization
- Implementation of environmental protection procedures to reduce environmental pollution and prevent further damage to the environment
- Reducing the negative impact on water, soil, air, and biodiversity.
The Director of Biofarm d.o.o. is responsible for informing all persons working under its supervision of the environmental management policy and making it available to the public.
