Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil is one of the most widely used oils. In cosmetics it is used for hair and skin care. Due to its composition rich in fatty acids and vitamins, macadamia oil nourishes, hydrates, regenerates and protects the skin. It is quickly absorbed and does not leave a greasy mark, which is why it is used for massages. It is also an ideal base for aroma massages with the addition of essential oil.

Regenerates dry, chapped and sensitive skin and gives it a glow. Protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays. It is used to treat burns caused by excessive sun exposure. It is suitable for all skin types, especially for mature skin care. It slows down the formation of wrinkles and alleviates existing ones.

It is also used to revitalize dry and damaged hair and with regular use it makes it silky, nourished and easy to comb. It is used by applying to dry or wet hair, it is quickly absorbed so it does not grease the hair.

Macadamia oil is not as viscous as sesame or olive oil, but is fast-absorbing, and as such is especially appreciated in the preparation of preparations for which we want faster penetration into the skin (better absorption).

Recipes with macadamia oil

Pimples mask

• half a teaspoon of lavender essential oil
• 7 drops of basil essential oil
• 8 tablespoons macadamia oil

Massage a few drops of the mixture into your face every day, after 20 minutes, rinse your face with cold water and cleanse with a gentle lotion.

Deep hair care mask

• ¼ cups of macadamia oil
• a drop (or two) of tea tree essential oil
• Aloe vera gel

Mix a quarter cup of macadamia oil, one drop of tea tree oil and a little aloe vera. Take the mask between your palms and rub your hands to warm the mask a little. Apply to hair so be sure to coat all strands. Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to completely spread the mask all over your hair. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Shine and volume mask

• 3 tablespoons macadamia oil
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 3 drops of bergamot essential oil
• 3 drops of lemon essential oil

Mix the ingredients and apply on damp hair and hold for 30-40 minutes. Pay special attention to the hair root – massage well. Rinse with warm water and let the hair dry naturally. Apply the mask once a week. This procedure brings thin lifeless hair back to life. It becomes much more docile and easier to style, and the hairstyle lasts longer.

Macadamia oil for makeup removing 
You can use macadamia oil to gently remove makeup, even waterproof mascara. You can use pure macadamia oil or macadamia oil and jojoba oil in a ratio of 1: 1.

Take 1/2 teaspoon of your makeup remover. Gently massage it on the face, especially on the area around the eyes. Then, gently wipe the oil with a cotton swab or damp cloth. And the makeup is gone!
