One of the main advantages of cold-pressed jojoba oil is its similarity to the natural oil produced by our skin – sebum. This oil is easily absorbed and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on the skin, making it an ideal choice for oily skin. When applied to the face, jojoba oil helps regulate sebum secretion and balance oil production, reducing shine and the oily appearance of the skin.

Cold-pressed jojoba oil also has powerful antioxidant properties that help protect the skin from free radicals and environmental damage. This means that jojoba oil can assist in preventing premature aging of the skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Because of all these benefits, cold-pressed jojoba oil is often used in cosmetic products designed for the care of oily skin, such as lotions, creams, and facial cleansers. It can also be used on its own as a natural skincare treatment.

This natural oil contains large amounts of vitamin E, which further enhances its benefits for the skin. Vitamin E helps retain moisture in the skin, keeping it hydrated without making the surface oily.

Jojoba oil can also be used as part of a facial mask that will aid in skin regeneration and care. Here’s a recipe for a face mask:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of oatmeal (grind before use)
  • 1.5 tablespoons of organic honey
  • 1.5 tablespoons of coconut oil (available in our offer)
  • 1.5 tablespoons of plain
  • Greek yogurt
  • A few drops of Biofarm jojoba oil

Instructions: Mix honey and Greek yogurt in one bowl. In a separate bowl, mix coconut oil. Grind the oatmeal until finely ground, then add honey, yogurt, and coconut oil. Transfer the mixture to a separate bowl and add a few drops of jojoba oil. Take a handful of the mask and gently rub it all over your face. The oatmeal will fall off as you rub, so do this over a sink or trash can. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with a damp, warm towel or cloth.

Usage of the oil alone: Gently massage a few drops of oil into the desired area of the skin.
